Brownies
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2
Melt Butter and Mix Sugars
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
- 3
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and salt.
- 5
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 6
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 7
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Cool the Brownies
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes before cutting them into squares.
