Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help crisp up the chicken wings.

Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet and arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
Cooking the Chicken Wings
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Preparation of Smoky Sauce
- 5
Mix the Sauce Ingredients
In a medium-sized bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, hot sauce, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Tossing the Wings

Combine Wings and Sauce
Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the smoky sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Serving

Serve Hot
Serve the smoky chicken wings hot, garnished with chopped green onions or parsley if desired. Enjoy!
