Preparation of Meat
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F (107°C). Rub the pork ribs with a mixture of paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 2
Prepare the Pulled Pork
If using a slow cooker, place the pulled pork in the cooker and cover it with half a cup of barbecue sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours. If using an oven, wrap the pork in foil and cook at 300°F (150°C) for 4-5 hours until tender.
- 3
Prepare the Chicken Leg Quarters
Rub the chicken leg quarters with the same spice mix used for the ribs. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes. Grill or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40-50 minutes, basting with barbecue sauce.
