Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs using a sharp knife. This helps the marinade penetrate better.
- 2
Make the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce until fully combined.
- 3
Marinate the Ribs
Place the ribs in a large zip-top bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
Cooking
- 4
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium heat, about 180-200°C (350-400°F).
- 5
Prepare the BBQ Sauce
In a saucepan, combine ketchup, honey, soy sauce, mustard, and liquid smoke. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.

Check for Doneness
The ribs are done when the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily. You can check with a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should reach about 85°C (185°F).
