Sandwich Assembly

Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Season the top sirloin steak with salt and pepper on both sides to enhance the flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Bacon

In the last 2 minutes of cooking the steak, add the bacon slices to the skillet. Cook until crispy, turning occasionally.

  4. 4

    Melt Cheese

In the final minute, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the steak and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

Slice the steak bun in half horizontally, but do not cut all the way through.

  2. 6

    Add Condiments

Spread mayonnaise on the inside of both halves of the bun.

  3. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

Place the cooked steak with melted cheese on the bottom half of the bun. Add the crispy bacon, followed by the lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato.

  4. 8

    Complete the Sandwich

Top the sandwich with the other half of the bun and gently press down.
