Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean and Slice the Mushrooms

Rinse the mushrooms under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Remove the stems if necessary and slice the mushrooms into even pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

  3. 3

    Measure Out Other Ingredients

Gather the olive oil, salt, black pepper, and Swiss cheese. Shred the Swiss cheese if it's not pre-shredded.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the oil. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are golden brown and have released their moisture.

  3. 6

    Add Garlic and Season

Stir in the chopped garlic, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

  4. 7

    Add the Swiss Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the sautéed mushrooms. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet with a lid, and let the cheese melt for about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Once the cheese is melted, remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
