Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Divide Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 4 equal pieces for mini pizzas.

  3. 7

    Shape Pizzas

Roll out each piece of dough on a floured surface into a circle about 6-8 inches in diameter.

  4. 8

    Add Sauce and Toppings

Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each pizza base. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and add your choice of toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, black olives).

  5. 9

    Bake Pizzas

Place the mini pizzas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

  6. 10

    Cool and Serve

Remove pizzas from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
