Method

Preparation of Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs seasoned with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, then into the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each strip is well-coated.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken Tenders

Carefully place the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary, for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Drain and Set Aside

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Preparation of Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips (fries).

  2. 8

    Soak the Fries

Soak the cut fries in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  3. 9

    Heat the Oil for Frying

In another large skillet or deep fryer, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 175°C (350°F).

  4. 10

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches and fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them and drain on paper towels.

  5. 11

    Season the Fries

While still hot, sprinkle the fries with salt to taste.
