Chicken Tenders

Method

Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, whisk the eggs in the second bowl, and add breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat 2 cups of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 8

    Heat the Oil for Frying

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat 4 cups of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 10

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt immediately while hot.

  5. 11

    Serve

Serve the fries alongside the chicken tenders.
