Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your grill or char-broiler to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

Cook the Chicken
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Sauté the Mushrooms
While the chicken is cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Chicken Cordon Bleu
Once the chicken is cooked, place two slices of ham on each chicken breast, followed by a slice of Swiss cheese. Top with sautéed mushrooms.

Melt the Cheese
Cover the skillet with a lid or place under a broiler for a couple of minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Plate the Dish
Transfer the Chicken Cordon Bleu to a serving plate. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the top or serve on the side.
