Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion finely and set aside. Slice the pickles if they are whole.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cheese

In a bowl, mix the mozzarella and cheddar cheese together to create a cheese blend.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Form the Patties

Take the ground beef and form it into two equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon bits until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 5

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 6

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with the cheese blend and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Build Your Burger

On the bottom half of the hamburger bun, place the cooked patty with melted cheese. Add pickles, onions, and crispy bacon bits on top. Finish with the top half of the bun.
