Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken pieces, ensuring they are well coated.

  2. 2

    Roast the Chicken

Place the seasoned chicken quarters on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Jo-Jo Potatoes Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

While the chicken is roasting, wash the Russet potatoes and cut them into wedges. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the potato wedges in this mixture until evenly coated.

  2. 4

    Bake the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer. Place them in the oven alongside the chicken for about 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Toast Preparation

  1. 5

    Toast the Bread

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the bread slices and toast them on both sides until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Dish

Once everything is cooked, plate the chicken quarters, Jo-Jo potatoes, and toasted bread. Serve with a cup of sour cream on the side for dipping.
