Main Ingredients

Marinade for Salmon

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

Start by marinating the salmon. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Refrigerate Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare Asparagus

While the salmon is marinating, prepare the asparagus by trimming the ends and rinsing them under cold water.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Grill Salmon

Once the grill is hot, remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 6

    Grill Asparagus

While the salmon is grilling, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill them for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.

  4. 7

    Make Lemon Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley. Remove from heat once combined.

Plating

  1. 8

    Serve the Dish

To serve, place the grilled salmon on plates alongside the grilled asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon.
