Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your glass. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for about 10 minutes or filling it with ice water for a few minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather your Dalmore 14 Scotch whisky, ice cubes, and any optional garnishes you wish to use.

Serving

  1. 3

    Pour the Scotch

Remove the glass from the freezer or empty the ice water. Pour 1 bottle (750 ml) of Dalmore 14 Scotch whisky into the chilled glass.

  2. 4

    Add Ice

Add 4 ice cubes to the glass, adjusting the number to your personal preference.

  3. 5

    Add Water (Optional)

If desired, add 1 tablespoon of water to the glass to open up the flavors of the whisky.

  4. 6

    Garnish

For an aromatic touch, add a strip of orange peel as a garnish. If you like, add 2 dashes of chocolate bitters for an extra layer of flavor.

  5. 7

    Enjoy

Stir gently if desired, then enjoy your Dalmore 14 Scotch whisky neat or on the rocks.
