In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk and eggs until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Coat the Pickles
Dip each pickle slice into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Fry the Pickles
Carefully drop the coated pickles into the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve the fried pickles hot with ranch dressing on the side.

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
