Mix base
In a cocktail shaker, combine elderflower liqueur (0.75 oz), fresh grapefruit juice (1.5 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.25 oz), and simple syrup (0.25 oz). Add 4 ice cubes to the shaker.
- 3
Shake
Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for about 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted. This chills and slightly dilutes the citrus mixture for balance.
- 4
Strain into glass
Double-strain the shaken mixture (use a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh sieve if available) into the chilled coupe or flute, filling it roughly one-third to one-half full (depending on glass size).

Garnish and finish
Express a grapefruit twist over the drink to release oils, then drop it into the glass or place a thin wheel on the rim. Optionally float an edible flower or a small sprig of microherbs on top for a decorative Moon Goddess presentation.

Serve
Serve immediately while the sparkling wine is lively. Advise guests to sip slowly to enjoy the effervescence and floral notes.
