    Prepare the Tomato Jam

    In a saucepan, add the cherry tomatoes and cook over medium heat until they begin to burst, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    Season the Jam

    Add olive oil, salt, and balsamic vinegar to the tomatoes. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

    Make the Basil Oil

    In a blender, combine the fresh basil leaves with 1/4 cup of olive oil. Blend until smooth and season with salt to taste.

    Assemble the Dish

    On a serving plate, place the burrata cheese in the center. Spoon the tomato jam over the burrata and drizzle the basil oil around it.

    Season with black pepper and serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers.
