Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the noodles

Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 30 minutes or until softened, then drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the egg

In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Beat the eggs and pour them into the pan, scrambling until fully cooked. Remove the eggs from the pan and set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir-fry the vegetables

Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the pan. Sauté the minced garlic and sliced bell pepper for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Combine the ingredients

Add the soaked rice noodles, bean sprouts, cooked eggs, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili paste to the pan. Toss everything together and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring the noodles are well coated and heated through.

  5. 5

    Add basil and serve

Remove the pan from heat and stir in the fresh basil leaves. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
