Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.

Fill the Wontons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Crab Rangoon
Carefully add 4-5 filled wontons to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove and drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining wontons.

Serve the crispy crab rangoon hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
