Prepare the Glass
Start by selecting a tall glass for your soda float.

Add Ice Cream
Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass.

Pour the Soda
Slowly pour the soda of your choice over the ice cream until the glass is nearly full.

Top with Whipped Cream
Add a tablespoon of whipped cream on top of the float.

Garnish
Finish off with a maraschino cherry on top and any optional toppings you desire.
