Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar until combined.
- 2
Combine Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- 3
Mix Batter
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.
- 4
Preheat the Griddle
Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
- 5
Cook Pancakes
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- 6
Serve
Stack the pancakes on a plate, top with a pat of butter, and drizzle with pure Wisconsin maple syrup to taste. Serve warm.
