Clean the Fish
Rinse the Kinmedai (Golden Eye Snapper) under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Ensure the fish is scaled and gutted.

Marinate the Fish
Place the cleaned Kinmedai in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Prepare the Grill or Oven
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Fish
If grilling, place the fish directly on the grill grates and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. If baking, place the fish on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes.

Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill or oven. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
