Rinse and Prepare
Rinse the edamame under cold water to remove any dirt and impurities.

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed edamame and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Cover the pot and let the edamame steam for about 5-7 minutes or until they are bright green and tender.

Carefully drain the edamame using a colander, and let them cool slightly.

Serve the edamame warm. You can sprinkle additional salt on top if desired, or drizzle with soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes for added flavor.
