Sea Bass

Method

Sea Bass Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Fish

Pat the Chilean sea bass fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the fillets in the skillet skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 3

    Add Lemon Juice

Once cooked, remove the fish from the skillet and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.

Miso Crema Preparation

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine the white miso paste, heavy cream, minced garlic, and lemon zest. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.

  2. 5

    Heat the Sauce

Place the saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is warm and slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to boil the sauce.

  3. 6

    Season the Sauce

Taste the miso crema and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add the sliced green onions and stir to combine.
