Method
Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Remove from heat and let steep for 5-7 minutes.

Add Sugar
After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher to remove the tea leaves. Stir in 1 cup of sugar until fully dissolved.

Cool the Tea
Let the sweetened tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Preparing the Cream

Mix Cream Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix together 1 cup of evaporated milk and 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
Assembling the Drink

Prepare Glasses
In each serving glass, place 1 cup of ice.

Pour Tea
Pour the chilled sweetened Thai tea over the ice until the glass is about 2/3 full.

Add Cream
Gently pour the cream mixture on top of the tea, allowing it to create a layered effect.

Garnish
Optionally, add a piece of star anise for garnish.
