Drink

1

Chill bottle

Place the Perrier bottle or can in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving so it is well chilled (around 38°F / 3°C). Cold sparkling water tastes best and retains carbonation longer when served cold.

2

Prepare glass

Select a tall, narrow glass (collins or highball) or a stemmed glass if preferred. If using ice, add 3–4 medium ice cubes to the glass. Note: adding ice will dilute and chill faster.

3

Open and pour

Carefully open the chilled Perrier bottle or can to preserve carbonation. Hold the glass at a slight angle and slowly pour 12 oz (about one standard bottle or one full can) down the side of the glass to reduce foaming and preserve effervescence.

4

Garnish and serve

Optionally squeeze the lime wedge lightly over the surface (one quick squeeze) and drop it into the glass, or set the lemon wheel on the rim. Add a mint sprig for an aromatic garnish if desired. Serve immediately so the drink is at peak fizziness.
