Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- 2
Prepare the Turkey
Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
- 3
Season the Turkey
Rub the turkey with softened butter and season generously with salt, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, and sage.
- 4
Roast the Turkey
Place the turkey breast-side up on a roasting rack in a roasting pan. Roast for approximately 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 5
Baste the Turkey
Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices to keep it moist.
Stuffing Preparation

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables with the stale bread cubes, chicken broth, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- 8
Stuff the Turkey

Gravy Preparation
