Method

Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Prepare the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    Cream Butter and Sugars

    In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

    Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

    Combine Mixtures

    Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

    Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

    Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
