Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the cubed bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.

  2. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted bread, sautéed vegetables, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Add Broth and Eggs

Gradually add the broth to the bread mixture until it is moist but not soggy. Stir in the beaten eggs and mix until evenly combined.

  5. 5

    Bake the Stuffing

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
