Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Prime Rib

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Rub the Sterling Silver prime rib with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place it in a roasting pan and roast for about 1 hour, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Make the Au Jus

In a saucepan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onions are translucent. Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Thinly slice the rested prime rib. Split the hoagie buns and layer the sliced prime rib inside. Serve with a small bowl of au jus for dipping.
