Mixing the Drink

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz of reposado tequila, 0.5 oz of mezcal, 0.75 oz of Cynar, and 0.5 oz of demerara syrup.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of chipotle cocoa bitters to the shaker.

Add Ice
Fill the shaker with ice cubes to the top.

Shake
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
Garnishing

Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and drop it in as a garnish.
