Stuffed Chicken Parmesan Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.

  2. 2

    Stuff the Chicken

Layer each chicken breast with a slice of prosciutto, a few basil leaves, and some shredded mozzarella. Carefully fold the chicken over to enclose the filling and secure with toothpicks if necessary.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Season each bowl with salt and pepper. Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.

  5. 5

    Bake the Chicken

Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.

  6. 6

    Cook the Pasta

While the chicken is baking, cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  7. 7

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  8. 8

    Serve

Plate the linguine, top with the stuffed chicken, and spoon additional marinara sauce over the top. Serve with sautéed vegetables on the side.
