Pasta and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Make the Pasta

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs. Gradually mix flour into the eggs until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add red onion and sauté until translucent. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Stir in tomatoes, spinach, capers, lemon juice, and sriracha. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until spinach wilts.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pasta

Roll out the rested pasta dough to your desired thickness and cut into shapes (fettuccine, tagliatelle, etc.). Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente, about 2-4 minutes depending on thickness.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the shrimp sauce. Toss to combine. Serve hot with a side of mixed vegetables.
