Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. This usually takes around 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set it aside. You can toss it with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and cherry tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. Cut the broccoli into small florets.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the chopped vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss together to combine.

  2. 6

    Season the Dish

Add salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and fresh basil. Toss everything together to ensure the pasta and vegetables are well coated with the seasoning.

  3. 7

    Serve

If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top before serving. Enjoy your Pasta Primavera!
