Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if necessary.
- 2
Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt and black pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
Cooking
- 3
Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- 4
Make Sweet Sauce
While the ribs are baking, prepare the sweet sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly, about 10 minutes.
