Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bacon Candy
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Coat the Bacon
In a bowl, mix brown sugar with a pinch of salt. Take each slice of bacon and coat it generously with the brown sugar mixture.
- 3
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the coated bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap.
- 4
Bake the Bacon
Bake the bacon in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until crispy and caramelized. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
- 5
Prepare the Vermouth and Orange Juice Mixture
While the bacon is baking, combine sweet vermouth and orange juice in a mixing bowl. Stir well and set aside.
- 6
Serve
Once the bacon is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve the bacon candy with the sweet vermouth and orange juice mixture for dipping.
