Method

Prepare the Pimento Cheese Filling

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, chopped pimentos, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Prepare the Ravioli

  1. 2

    Assemble Ravioli

Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the pimento cheese filling in the center. Brush the edges with beaten egg to help seal. Top with another wonton wrapper and press out any air while sealing the edges. Repeat until all filling is used.

Coat the Ravioli

  1. 3

    Prepare Coating

Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with the beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs seasoned with salt and pepper. Dip each ravioli first in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.

Fry the Ravioli

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry Ravioli

Carefully drop a few coated ravioli into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate and Enjoy

Serve the pimento cheese toasted ravioli warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
