Main Dish - BBQ Chicken

Sides - Grilled Corn on the Cob

Method

Main Dish - BBQ Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken thighs.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce generously over the chicken.

Sides - Grilled Corn on the Cob

  1. 3

    Prepare the Corn

While the chicken is grilling, soak the corn in water for about 10 minutes. This will prevent it from burning on the grill.

  2. 4

    Grill the Corn

Remove the corn from the water and place it on the grill. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until all sides are slightly charred.

  3. 5

    Season the Corn

Once the corn is done, remove it from the grill and spread butter over each ear. Sprinkle with salt and paprika for added flavor.

Salad - Coleslaw

  1. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.

  2. 7

    Make the Dressing

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 8

    Combine and Chill

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
