Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.

Heat the Griddle
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

Cook Pancakes
For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 minutes more.

Serve
Remove pancakes from the griddle and serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.
