In a large bowl, season the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Make sure they are evenly coated.

Making the Kentuckyaki Sauce

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
