Crab Cakes
- 1
Prepare the Crab Cake Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and the egg. Mix gently to combine.
- 2
Add Vegetables and Seasoning
Chop the green onions finely and add them to the mixture. Stir in the bread crumbs, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 3
Form the Crab Cakes
Using your hands, shape the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4
Cook the Crab Cakes
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes, cooking them in batches if necessary. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
