French Toast

Method

French Toast Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Soak the Brioche

Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 15-30 seconds on each side until well coated.

  3. 3

    Cook the French Toast

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the soaked brioche slices to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Whipped Cream Preparation

  1. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Place two slices of the French toast on a plate. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a handful of fresh fruit.

  2. 6

    Serve Immediately

Serve the brioche French toast warm, with additional maple syrup and fresh fruit on the side, if desired.
