Add Seasoning
Stir in fresh thyme, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.

Remove from heat and let the mushroom marmalade cool slightly before using.
Goat Cheese Spread Preparation

Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, chopped chives, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Adjust Seasoning
Taste the goat cheese spread and adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside for assembly.
Tartine Assembly

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the sourdough bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
