Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the chef's cut steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Crispy Shallots Preparation

  1. 3

    Slice the Shallots

Peel and thinly slice the shallots into rings.

  2. 4

    Fry the Shallots

Coat the shallots in flour. In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the shallots until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Eggs Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Crack the farm-fresh eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness: sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled.

Bacon Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the applewood bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Crispy Potatoes Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and halve the baby potatoes. In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 8

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
