Preparation of Roasted Garlic Tomato Sauce

Roast the Garlic
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil with a drizzle of olive oil. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until soft and fragrant.

Make the Sauce
In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the canned crushed tomatoes, roasted garlic (squeezed out of the skins), dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cooking the Sausage and Broccolini

Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage links. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.

Char the Broccolini
In the same skillet, add the broccolini and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and slightly charred. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Plate the Dish
On a serving plate, spoon a generous amount of the roasted garlic tomato sauce. Arrange the sliced sausage on top, followed by the charred broccolini. Finally, add pieces of burrata cheese on top of the dish.

Enjoy this dish warm, garnished with additional black pepper or fresh herbs if desired.
