Bacon

Scrambled Eggs

Method

Bacon

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, place the bacon strips in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and browned. Once done, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.

Scrambled Eggs

  1. 2

    Prepare the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the large eggs and add milk, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until fully combined and slightly frothy.

  2. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and let it sit for a few seconds. Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs, pushing them from the edges toward the center. Continue until the eggs are softly scrambled, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Waffles

  1. 4

    Make the Waffle Batter

In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; lumps are okay.

  2. 5

    Cook the Waffles

Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or oil. Pour the appropriate amount of batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Carefully remove and repeat with the remaining batter.
