Deviled Eggs

Pickled Fresno Chili

Spicy Sauce

Method

Deviled Eggs

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover for 10-12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes. Once cool, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Prepare Filling

Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and crumbled bacon. Mix until smooth.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

Smoked Tomato Bacon Jam

  1. 5

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 6

    Prepare Jam

In the same skillet, add cherry tomatoes, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until tomatoes break down and jam thickens. Stir in the crispy bacon.

Pickled Fresno Chili

  1. 7

    Prepare Brine

In a saucepan, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.

  2. 8

    Pickle Chilies

Place sliced Fresno chilies in a jar and pour the hot brine over them. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Spicy Sauce

  1. 9

    Mix Sauce

In a small bowl, mix hot sauce and mayonnaise until well combined.
