Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Cut in Butter
Cut the cold unsalted butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Cheese and Jalapenos
Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced jalapeno until evenly distributed.

Add Buttermilk
Pour in the buttermilk and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Shape the Biscuits
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick. Cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter or a glass.

Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Open the pre-made biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.

In a small saucepan, melt the stick of unsalted butter over low heat.

Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
