Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground bison, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, grated parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh basil.

Form the Meatballs
Mix all ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into the sauce and stir to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Stir in ½ cup of chopped fresh basil just before serving.
