Cook the Pappardelle
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pappardelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Wine
Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Allow the wine to reduce slightly for about 3 minutes.

Make the Cream Sauce
Reduce the heat to low, then add the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked pappardelle pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the shrimp and cream sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper as needed.

Serve the Shrimp San Remo immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
